#AskTheExpert sir, My son's age is 1.6 mnts,wight 14 kg.I am from Assam,here in normal temperature also he has excisive sweeting aprox all the time.Is it a problem to think ? pls reply sir,Thanks.

Thanks for the response. I just want to ensure that,even there is no fever (temp is less then 99)then also he got excisive sweeting, during normal weather condition also.Is there no need to worry? Thanks.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. it's very Normal finding and you should not worry regarding this thing but still you can contact with your doctor for a proper confirmation regarding your query and a proper guidance.Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic acid preparations.
cold sponging of the whole body with jgttap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .
