#AskTheExpert sir, my son passes motion (soft and yellow) after 7-8 days since few 6-7 weeks . He is on breastfeeding and one time on formula since 2 weeks.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. neded to be seen hy. Pediatric doctor should examine as it is difficult to advise for this without examining the baby . Further any medication according to the examination only . Also it may be required to have some test .

If your baby is exclusively breastfed, her poop will be yellow or slightly green and have a mushy or creamy consistency. It may be runny enough to resemble diarrhea. Breastfed poop typically looks like Dijon mustard and cottage cheese mixed together and may be dotted with little seed-like flecks.
