#AskTheExpert sir my baby age 1 year 4 months recovering from covid. Medicine is going on, 2 days happen. sometimes fever comes, usually his legs below ankle is hot specially when he awake from sleep, but body, forehead and hand palm is normal or only a little. warmer , anything to worry?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. if the child is comfortable and play full then there is no need to give medicine at 99 degree fahrenheit but if the child is irritable and is crying then you can give paracetamol at 99. you have to understand that paracetamol is given for the relief of problems of the child and it will not help in curing the condition

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. it is very common that children may have slightly warm body when they are recovering from any infection and gradually the temperature of the body will improve and it is very important to continue the medicines given by your doctor along with regular diet and you can also do body sponge to decrease the surface temperature
