#asktheexpert sir, my 51/2 month old is weighing 6.4kg. she not gaining weight recently. she on breastfeeding only. How can I know that my milk are sufficient? can I start giving solids to her?

A. dear mum, weight of 6.4 kg is a normal weight for 5.5 months old baby. if baby is active, alert, passing urine more than 7 times in 24 hours then feeding is sufficient. solids should be introduced only after completion of 6 months.
