#AskTheExpert sir my 4 year old son is having cough which increases in the night.. during the day coughing is very less but in night it increases. he is taking medicines and antibiotics also.

A. Cough in a child could be allergic , infective or due to some other cause like GERD so it needs proper valuation before giving any medication . Primarily you can give steam inhalation to the child for rv the improvement before consulting your doctor.
