A. Exclusive breastfeeding is recommended till 6 months of age. However from 5 months of age solid food can be started. Initially ragi porridge, mashed rice can be given. Mashed fruits and vegetables can be added later. Initially only cereals should be given.

A. Hi, exclusively breastfeed and continue formula milk until baby complete six months. After completion of six month you can start with semisolid foods like fruit purée, vegetable purée and porridge, Dal water and lukewarm water. Always feed in sitting position. Avoid sugar and salt, citric fruit and honey until baby completes one year.Write Your Answer Here
