#AskTheExpert sir! from last night my baby's having fever... should I take him to the hospital?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. In such a case it is difficult to comment here because proper assessment is required which is possible only with clinical interaction so it will be better to visit your doctor /pediatrician for proper guidance regarding this.
The treating doctor will advise you the proper investigation if required as well as prescribe appropriate treatmhfent as per the requirement.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. Kindly give paracetamol for fever and it is given according to the weight as well as according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having.
Whether higher medicines are required or not will be told by the doctor.
Keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever
Armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as feverx
Do body sponge and give plenty of water to drink and easily digestible food.
