Q.

#AskTheExpert Should we give iron drops to 6 month old? we started semi solid foods, and now giving zincovit and d3 drops as well.

A. don't give, it would be good to consult paediatrician. You should feed only breast feeds as complete food to your baby for the first 6 months of life. In the addition Vitamin D drops need to be given for 1 year.

A. Yes If you see that there is a deficiency of iron to your child then you can definitely give a supplement to the child because I don’t know any other supplement is only given to the child when there is a deficiency of vitamin C D3 is supposed to be given for initial one year as per doctors
