#asktheexpert should I start food for my 4month old girl. she is teething and do not drink milk like before. she is even having loose motions and I found reduction in her weight as well.

your baby is not drinking milk because of loose motions please visit a pediatrician and get proper treatment done

When the babies are on teething the appetite decreases. So no need to worry. This is just a temporary phase.
Give ur baby teethers as they put pressure on gums and give relief to baby from pain and itching during teething like babyhug teethers.
Mother should exclusive breast feed her baby till six months. Once ur baby completes six months then u can start with semi solids and water
