A. yes can give milk at night. after age of 1 year it is important to follow the following points . and the maximum milk you can give per day is 500 ml. you have to give at least one katori of rice product 1 katori of dal product 1 katori of wheat product and 1 katori of vegetable everyday to the child and at least two fruits every day to the child. you can make anything any recipe from cereals pulses vegetable milk and fruits and by giving this daily you will be providing adequate nutrition to the child. you can add ghee groundnuts dryfruits in the diet and this will help in improving the weight of the child.

A. If your child is crying at night and not sleeping through the night, it’s important to consider a few factors before deciding whether to offer milk: 1. **Assess the Cause**: Determine if the crying is due to hunger or other reasons like discomfort, teething, or a need for comfort. If your baby seems hungry and it’s been a few hours since the last feed, offering milk might be appropriate. 2. **Sleep Patterns**: At 2 months old, it’s common for babies to wake up frequently during the night. They have small stomachs and may need nighttime feedings. 3. **Feeding Schedule**: Ensure that your baby’s feeding schedule meets their nutritional needs. If your baby is eating well during the day but still waking at night, it might be more about comfort or habit rather than hunger. 4. **Sleep Training**: If your baby is older and still waking frequently, you might consider gentle sleep training methods to help them learn to self-soothe and sleep for longer periods. 5. **Comfort Measures**: Sometimes, comforting your baby without feeding—such as rocking, patting, or using a soothing sound machine—can help them settle back to sleep. If you’re unsure whether to feed or how to address nighttime wake-ups, consulting with your pediatrician can provide personalized guidance based on your baby’s specific needs and development.
