A. Sleeping pattern of small babies varies in children and if there is no discomfort or any other cause like infantile colic ,nasal blockage or any kind of pain and if the child is playful and taking proper feeding there is nothing to worry, have patience , this pattern will get normal with time.just keep monitoring your baby for comfortable position and temperature. every baby has its own sleeping pattern which keeps changing with age, only after 5-6 mons of age you can establish a regular sleep cycle gradually with time n age. too much of light and noise may interfere, avoid any excess screen time, fix a regular time, do not allow day time sleep which us not so necessary , massage the feet of the baby for a relaxed and undisturbvwed sleep. gentle rocking and patting of the baby, singing a lullaby, and light music will also play a good role. lesser the noise and better the sleep.a sound sleep of 8-10 hrs with a proper diet is sufficient for child's health.

A. Around 18 hours no issies. its's quite normal in newborns .That's how they function. It's nothing to worry. After few months they will start to follow a sleep routine. Follow a sleep pattern ensure to put your baby to sleep at the same time every day. Feed a little more during night hours for good sleep.
