#asktheexpert Saad is 1 year 5 month old. she have chest infection and cough ,cold . This problem repetly every month /twice in month. she loose weight 12 kg to now 10 kg. please suggest me .... some thing

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. also cough is a symptom where excess mucus secretion may be there and most of the time it may be allergic or because of some infection like viral infection. Initially, symptomatic treatment can be tried like steam, inhalation, and some home remedies for any kind of medication, including expectoranthj or anti allergic medications, you have to consult your doctor. If cough is severe causing breathlessness. It should not be ignored.
