Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. For common cold home remedies like giving steam to baby works very well and of fever is there then give paracetamol for same . Other remedy includes nasovion nasal drop for blocked nose and ascoril ls for cough .

Nihita mittalMom of 4 children3 years agoA. good morning I would recommend that you should try to give your baby indirect steam inhalation and you can also try to apply baby Vicks rub on the nose you can also apply on the chest and back
