#AskTheExpert please Sir, advice my baby 5 month old given formula milk tooo much cough problem and some one advice give cow milk little bit fine now....?

A. This can occurs due to weather changes and temperature variations or simple cold and rarely infection. kindly give nasal saline drops (nasoclear /nasivion s)every three hourly and since it is a salt water/saline water it does not have any side effects and can be given again and again for nasal blockage and respiratory cough. It will dissolve mucus inc nose and throat. For fever and pain give paracetamol Try to prevent temperature variations around the child and yxou can also give indirect steam inhalation and if there is no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor

A. hi dear Your baby doesn't need anything except breastmilk or infant formula for their first 6 months. Even after they begin eating solids at around 6 months old, breastmilk or formula will still provide the majority of your baby's nutrition for the first year.
