#AskTheExpert please recommend some supplements or diet to provide essential nutrients like omega-3, dha, iron, calcium for 2.7 yr old boy. also what should be the milk intake for this age

A. limit milk intake yo to 250 to 300 ml per day.. also offer other dairy products. add flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, ragi in regular diet. Give well balanced diet including all five healthy food groups: vegetables, fruit, grain foods, dairy and protein.

A. Limit your child's milk intake to about 16–24 ounces a day (2 to 3 cups). Serve more iron-rich foods (meat, poultry, fish, enriched grains, beans, tofu).
