#asktheexpert - pediatrician my baby girl age was 3 months old. my baby have loose motion from 1week.it was like watery and watery foam. I used ofloxacin and metronidazole suspension syrup from 3days but no use. please suggest the best medicine to my baby madam

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. it may be gastric infection . Diarrhoea can be just due to gastric irritation or may be due to infection . Oral rehydration solution should be started at once in both condition to prevent from any sort of dehydration and lethargy . Other safe medicine like zinc drop and pre or probiotics can be given .
