#AskTheExpert one of my friend said that , For kids their is no covid vaccination instead we need to give swine flue injection ? Is that true?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Vaccination needs to be given to child only when the present covid situation becomes favourable and under full safety precautions.if there is any delay it will not have any adverse effect but
mandatory vaccinations should be on the priority list followed by optional vaccine later on .
Vaccination for children can be considered in the current situation as the cases of covid are less to some extent .
In such condition most important Vaccination should be given on priority which your doctor will decide.
Influenza vaccine should be given to children above 6 months of age in this season if not given to avoid unnecessary hospitalisation and other risk factorls because of flu infection.

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr old girl4 years agoA. Yeah almost all vaccines are good n safe to give though they may not be compulsory to babies still it's always good to give and be safer. Few hospitals would say few are mandatory and few or not. still all vaccines are must for babies and its safe to give it. Never miss any vaccine to your child...
