#AskTheExpert on 18june my daughter had fever so I gave her crocin but that didn't bring her fever down , took her to nearby paediatric and he gave antibiotic, and fever medicine so the fever didn't came but again the next day it came ..on and off till today it's going the same way ..from yesterday she is coughing very often... very worried . the temp goes from 100 to 102 at times

Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first lingde treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again required
and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever
