Q.

#asktheexpert New born baby seems to have issues with motions... Baby is feeling the pressure whenever he is passing the gas or motions... During motion... it feels like baby is trying hard to push out gas or motions... And cries bit as well... Is this normal or is there any remedies for this...? Do we need to visit the doctor...?

A. straining while passing urine and stool is very normal before completion of 6 months of age. sometimes this can continue for one year of age also. it usually occurs due to the distentiond of the urinary bladder and rectum of the child. the sensation is new for the child that's why the child is cryingd if you feel that the crying is more than normal you should visit a pediatrician for examination.
