#AskTheExpert My wife has conceived by IVF treatment. now she is 23 weeks pregnant. last week we had a NT scan, it shows cervix length as 3.20cm and doctor adviced us to put stitches. Is this length normal, or do we have put stitches as recommended by doctor?

A. Hi, firstly congratulations ! In 23 weeks cervical length 3.2 cms may not be a concern but going forward it may decrease due to baby' weight. So if doctor is suggesting go for it , this is very crucial to hold baby and avoid any premature birth.
