It can be due to hemorrhoids or anal fissures. Try a warm water bath. Sit in it for about 10-15 mins after each bowel movement or for 2-3 times a day. It helps to soothe irritation. Add Epsom salt to water to help reduce swelling and pain. Or apply ice compress on the hemorrhoids and leave it for about 10 mins. Sit on a soft cushion or a pillow.
