Q.

#asktheexpert my two years old baby is pooping three times in a day and with white mucus in it everytime.what can be the reason? baby is playing well,eating well and not cranky as well.. please solve my problem

A. Sometimes it could be due to indigestion sometimes it could be due to an infection in the stomach because you’re saying mucus or white colour is present so there could be some percentage of chance of an infection kindly consult your paediatrician for further assistance

A. Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated wnith foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment
