Q.

#asktheexpert My toddler ( 5 year old) likes sleeping in her cradle that she has been habituated to since her birth. My MIL says sleeping in cradle affects her sleep, although the cradle cloth is a lot longer than her current height. My mom tells me to let her sleep by her wish, either in cot or cradle, and not to force her to sleep in a cot. I have both and she alternates between both for sleeping, as per her mood swings. I dont want to take away her moments of being a baby. She loves her cradle very much, that when I dont put up one she keeps asking me for it. She sleeps peacefully in her cradle. Is it true that cradle affects growth? I wish any expert could give me advice on this. Do I really have to move her to cot?

A. hello actually each kid is different in their own way so no need to worry just try to divert your baby give some more time tell stories make the bedtime more interesting make your baby to sleep with you on the bed it will not affect the growth but still they need to stretch the legs hands and all so due to overall development sometimes it is OK for funny in the cradle during the date time but at least during the night time make sure your kid sleep on the cot
