Q.

#AskTheExpert My stitch got infected after 7 days of delivery. Since last 3 days a large volume of puss and blood is coming out from the minute pore near the stitch. Doctor is doing everyday dressing. I am worried if it is normal to have antibiotics, and wont affect my health.

A. The antibiotics will not affect you or the baby as usually they will be given in such a way that it is safe while you’re breast-feeding. But most likely the wound might require opening and re-suturing after it dries outWrite Your Answer Here

A. Hello ma’am I am sure the antibiotics are only the last resort the doctor has which is why the doctor is giving you the same so just continue with it don’t worry is about all these things. It is not going to affect your health in any manner because after C-section or after normal delivery if there is an issue then doctors have to give this medicine so don’t worry about it
