#AskTheExpert My son s 1yr 2month old frm yesterday he gt loose motion nd whn he go loose motion he ll cry more nd if we touch the he ll cry so plz gve some solutions

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. baby s above one year so loose stools are common in babies . Foamy stools are due to gas with motion and is normal. if baby cranky or dehydrated or having pain in stomach then can start O R S solution to baby and stop milk or milk containing products at all . Also zinc drops along with econorm satchets or syp darolac 5 ml once a day . If it does not get better with in 2 days then immediately see a doctor

Hi mom Maintain hydration Give three meal and two snacks including seasonal fruits vegetables cereals mashed potatoes mashed banana Give some light food like khichadi curd rice dal rice porridge upma daliya Give healthy protein rich nutritious food Wash hands often before touching your baby
