Q.

#AskTheExpert my son is seven months old. Can I add salt to his food as he doesn't like the food without it.

A. don't add, better to avoid adding salt and sugar till one year..as it will affect your baby's developing kidney.. You can give different taste by adding Cummin powder, Curry leaves, coriender leaves, ajawain (carrom seeds), cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, garlic, nutmeg, turmeric..

A. U Should add salt and all the other necessary spices required in the food for proper flavour and taste so you should definitely go ahead with that just avoid chilly till the age of eight months that you can avoid after the age of eight months You can be chilly but as of now add all the necessary spices including Salt
