#asktheexpert my son is presently 13 months old. He takes vitamin D 800UI 0.5 ml daily since birth. However, is it required to take any zinc syrup/drop now? His wt is 10.5 kg.But, for last few days, he is not eating properly. Will zinc help in increasing appetite? thanks

no need to give vit d now after 1 year of age.
even if he is active and hos weight is even goid, no need to give zinc too.
