#AskTheExpert my son is one year old and he is underweighy approx 10 kg so my friend has suggested threptin diskettes biscuit. is it good to give and has any sideffect. please suggest me

Shaista TarannumMom of a 17 yr 1 m old boy5 years agoA. these are store bought biscuits and may contain sone kind of preservatives also. giving once in a while is ok but giving it from the point of increasing weight us not recommended as you will he giving it more frequently then. hence best is to give more of home made foods than store bought food . also as long as the baby is active and healthy nothing is there to worry about weight. not all babies are chubby. some are lean too. you can give mashed egg yolk..about half a tbsp. you can give 1 tbsp banana 2-3 times a week yogurt about tbsp. mashed potato about 1 tbsp 2-3 times a week. you can give some ghee also...about half tbsp...but in two servings. ...not all at once. try any new food in small quantities and gradually increase. preferably give in morning time.
