#AskTheExpert my son is one month old. he is vomiting frequently even after burping. He is not sleeping night time for the last one month. plz suggest.

A. Hi, firstly make sure there is a gap of two hours between each feed. After feeding give a gap of few seconds and then gently take your baby on the shoulders and rub on baby’s back until baby takes one or two burps. While burping baby will spit a small amount of milk which is good. But vomiting he is not a good sign. Make sure not to feed more than 20 minutes. Sleeping pattern will change as the baby grows. Make sure the room is ventilated. use a dim light. Use a sleep suit though so that the baby is warm and baby Feels comfortable.
