#AskTheExpert my son is not having proper sleep middle of the night he wakes up and cry even in morning times he not sleep well

Sleeping cycle of small babies vary from one child to another and if there is no discomfort or any cause like infantile colic ,nasal blockage or any kind of pain and if the child is playful and taking proper feeding there is nothing to worry,have patience , this pattern will get normal with time.just keep monitoring your baby for comfortable position and temperature.Ac can be used at 26-27 C but no direct exposure to its air.
every baby has its own sleeping pattern which keeps changing with age,only after 5-6 mons of age you can establish a regular sleep cycle gradually with time n age. too much of light and noise may interfere, avoid any excess screen time, fix a regular time,
do not allow day time sleep which us not so necessary ,
massage the feet of the baby for a relaxed and undisturbed sleep. gentle rocking and patting of tzhe baby, singing a lullaby, and light music will also play a good role.
lesser the noise and better the sleep.a sound sleep of 8-10 hrs with a proper diet is sufficient for child's health.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. it is kor. There is no need to panic for this as it is normal in babies at this age . But if the problem exist for a longer time or you feel there is some other issue then a doctor should be consult near by for same .
