mam,it is ok for toddlers to prefer same kind of food items.
but as it is growing phase of childhood ,you must ensure that your child get all essential nutrients in adequate quantities too.
so try to add variation in your child diet.
for example
if child doesn't like to take rice ,you can offer rice in different form like kheer, khichu, dhokla, idli, dosa etc.
