Constipation is a common problem in children for which diet modification is important like including high fibres in the diet for which you can give seasonal fruits like papaya, watermelon and seasonal vefgetables will also help , can give daliya or oatsmeal also .give more liquids.
giving excess of milk may cause constipation too.also avoid banana which may aggravate .lactulose or polyethylene glycol may be of good help,but give any medicine or suppository only when prescribed.
