A. Cold is a viral disease that usually occurs with symptoms like sneezing, running nose, cough ,sore throat, nasal congestion and fever.at times it can be allergic too. Treatment consists of antihistamines, antipyretics analgesics and decongestants . steam inhalation would help in relieving congestion n soothing the irritation in nose and throat .you can give sinarest/wikoryl /ascoril flu cold in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms but it will be better to take only under medical guidance.so please get examination and treatment done by your pediatrician it will be better.no self treatment advisable.it may take upto two weeks also in recovery so dnt worrvdjry if gradually symptoms are getting relieved.child will resume normal activities thereafter.

A. Hello, Treatment Extra fluids. Nurse your infant more often. ... Spray saline and suck out mucus. If your baby has trouble breathing through a stuffed nose, spray a few drops of a saline (saltwater) solution into each nostril to loosen the mucus. ... Turn on a humidifier.
