#asktheexpert my son is doing sticky an smelly potty .. is because of I'm giving him moucolite as per doctor advice....???

A. thank you doctor ... mucolite and Betnesol this two drops are given by his doctor..

A. Hello, your baby boy is 2 months old and he is having sticky stools with bad smelling poop so mostly he is having some infection in his tummy and needs an antibiotic

A. yes it is due to the medicine because all the secretions which is produced goes into the stomach and then comes out . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

A. As their gut becomes colonized with bacteria, the stool becomes smellier. This is a normal process. Breast-fed babies usually don't have very smelly stools, while formula-fed babies often have a more pungent odor. Generally speaking, poop stinks, and there's not much we can do about it.
