Q.

#AskTheExpert my son is almost 3 months and from last 7 days he is having trouble in going to motion I consulted the doctor and he advised to give duphalac and later the problem continued he advised to add bonnisan syrup the issue is he did not poop for 4 days and after the dosage of syrup he excreted on 5th day. now the same issue is still continuing and it's been two days still he has not excreted.we r continuing the syrup pls suggest on this case

A. it is ok for the baby. At infancy it is not necessary that baby pass motion daily. It may be in 2 to 3 days or can be up to 1 week also . Glycerine suppository can be used for lubrication of the area .
