A. how to encourage reading books for my son. I try to read and he is not interested. I have a picture book and he likes to look mostly at the vehicles and points at it and wants me to tell the names again and again. I want to read to him story books and all. please help and guide me what techniques to use to build interest in book reading.

A. this is speech defect . Language issue so you should know about language development is a part of brain growth and is a milestone. 6 mnths ba na ma 8 mnths baba mama 2 years some words Speech is also dependent on hearing ability so need to check that too by ENT doctor. Reduce screen time, encourage conversations , recite play time and bed time stories to your baby. Improve interaction avoid tv avoid smartphones to baby. Incase all such tricks do not prove successful then should not delay help seeking and should see a pediatrician and speech therapist soon.
