A. it is common for infants to seek comfort by sucking on their mother's nipple at night. however, it is crucial to foster healthy sleep habits for both the baby and the parents. here are some tips to address this issue: 1. establish a bedtime routine: create a consistent routine to signal bedtime for the baby, such as a warm bath or reading a book. 2. encourage independent sleep: help the baby learn to self-soothe by placing them in their crib while drowsy but still awake. 3. use a pacifier: offer a pacifier as an alternative to nursing for comfort. 4. create a comfortable sleep environment: ensure the baby's sleep space promotes restful sleep. 5. set limits: gradually reduce feeding sessions throughout the night to encourage longer stretches of sleep. 6. consult a healthcare provider: seek guidance from a pediatrician or lactation consultant if needed.d each baby is unique, so remain patient and consistent while establishing healthy sleep patterns. c
