#asktheexpert my son is 5months old. His birthweight was 3.5 kg and currently he is 7kg. He is on breastfeeding only. Is this the adequate weight for his age?

A. dear Mum, a weight of 7 kg is a healthy weight for your 5 months old baby considering a birth weight of 3.5 kg. baby should double the birth weight by 6 months.
