#AskTheExpert my son is 5 yr old,. why he is not gaining weight , 3months he was 19 kg , last month he got viral infection..and lost 2 kg, what should to do for proper weight gain, and what weight would be perfect in this age

A. 19 KG for a five year old child is absolutely or healthy weight gain but if your child has lost due to viral that’s also completely normal currently I would recommend you go ahead with giving more of liquid Best diet vegetarian or non-vegetarian protein and a good amount of lentils
