#AskTheExpert My son is 5 years old. He had fever day before yesterday after giving crocin syrup he was all ok. No fever yesterday. But since today morning he has intermittent knee pain due to which he is limping. what can be the he cause?

A. There's no temperature since yesterday. He is complaining of only knee pain. No other joint pain too. Rest he is all playful

A. Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic acid preparbhations. cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .
