Q.

#AskTheExpert My son is 5 and 1/2month old and his weight is almost constant since last 1and 1/2 months. Is it okay to gain weight slowly at this stage? He has also reduced his milk intake. Till now he is exclusively breastfed and I have no issues with milk quantity.

A. thank you for reaching out to us with this question your baby will gain anywhere between 100 to 150 grams per week between 3 to 6 months if your baby is not getting weight you need to reach out with your pediatrician to check if there are any underlying causes which is the reason additionally please make sure that if you do have manual breast pump you are pumping and checking if you are able to produce enough that would be a great way to see if you baby is getting the right amount of milk. I have the Philips Avent response it is great something you can explore. #ParentYourWay
