#AskTheExpert My son is 4 months now . His head is having so many pimples and he feels uneasy. it's a week now they have increased. He is on breast feed only and I am taking all the supplements. To him only vitamin D drops ...pls suggest remedy

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children3 years agoA. If it looks like pimples (I couldn't clearly see in the picture) then it's good to consult with your pediatrician once. If it is more like scales, then it could be cradle cap. For cradle cap, you can go for oil therapy to loosen the dry flakes. Apply oil on the baby scalp and leave it for fifteen minutes. Then use a fine toothed comb or hair brush to gently comb away the flakes. If the cradle cap seems to be severe you can consult with your pediatrician and get some medicated baby shampoo prescribed
