#AskTheExpert my son is 4 months 20 days . weighs 6.2kg. he is having stuffy nose n cough for past 2 days.. baby is active taking mother feed. but less than before. my pediatrician suggested T-minic drops 3 tid n saline nasal drops . is it ok.. but cough is more

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. yes it is oknfor now. Sneezing and cough is common in this changing wheather . So steam is a good that can be given to babies for 2 to 3 times in a day at home only . For severe cough asthakind LS and montair like medication can be given .

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 11 m old boy4 years agoA. Hi mom. Yes this medicine it OK. Cold and cough can take 3-9 days to get cured. So no need to worry. Continue with the medicine prescribed by the doctor. Also give indirect steam to ur baby 2-3 times in a day and apply baby rub on the chest and feet of the baby to get relief from cough and cold
