Q.

#AskTheExpert My son is 4 month 1 week old. his weight is 6.350kg. his birth weight was 3.120 kg. he is exclusively on breastfeeding. Relatives say that he looks weak. is his weight gain ideal? Shall I give him formula milk in addition to breast milk?

A. no need to worry your baby weight is excellent as per age. he/ she might be looking weak as there are many changes in body that takes place and baby gets taller aswell.

A. in first six months the minimum weight gain should be 500 mg per month and it can go up to 1 kg per month also. the urine output should be more than 6 to 7 times per day. the child should sleep after taking breastfeeding. meet the doctor for for weight assessment. if the above criteria is achieved then the child is having adequate breastfeeding

A. Hi parent per month aboit 500 grams of. weight should increase take sunbathing daily with her head and ears covered in the morning massage her with Babyhug massage oil mom should not use demineralized water use simply purified water having tds higher than 350
