Q.

#AskTheExpert My son is 3.5 months old .. he started talking at the age of 2 itself... but now he suddenly started to stammer... it's going to be 2 months since he started stammering... will this go on its own?? or should I consult a speech therapist? I am really worried to see him develop this stammering all of a sudden...

A. Hello dear parent! Gradually the child will outgrow stammering. It mostly comes out of fear while speaking to large number of people. Do not correct your child immediately. Give confidence and appreciate whenever speaking without any inhibition and fear. Be patient and persistent in your efforts to encourage your child. Give a well balanced healthy diet and keep your baby hydrated all day. Give a teaspoon of honey in the mornings for better health and speech.
