#asktheexpert My son is 2yrs old and he is not having any thing from past 3 days, also from yesterday's evening he is having loose motions... please suggest some medicine and guide me

Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are asysociated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment f

I Believe you to discomfort of loose motion only your child is not eating anything and there could be another issue associated with the stomach of the child as well which is my probably your child is just not eating so it’s important for you to take an advice from your from paediatrician
