#AskTheExpert My Son is 2.5 Months Old, He's having lots of Gas Issue. neither He has done Poop from 3 days. Kindly suggest what to do ?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. it is totally normal for small children less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also.
it is also normal if they are passing stool more than 6 or 7 times per day.
if the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as the colour (the colour can range from yellow brown green to black) of the stool.
also straining while passing urine and stool is normal.
Do burping for 15 to 20 minutes
it is a common variant no need to worry about the stool pattern

sir it is normal .
nothing to worry.
please make sure your child get enough milk.
mother should offer plenty of breastfeeds.
burp your baby on your shoulder in upright position after each feeding for 10 to 15 minutes.
give Massage to your child everyday which will definitely help.
give Massage on stomach in clockwise direction with firm hands.
move your child legs in cycling motions.
