#AskTheExpert my son is 13days old. in the morning he feeds for 15mins and sleeps but at night he is not satisfied with 40 min feed also and doesn't fall asleep. any suggestions

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. pretty common in newborn. during early days babies sleep during day and vise versa..this patter get changes by 3-4 month..and proper sleep pattern. at night long feeding is not for hunger satisfaction that baby want to sooth themselves by sticking to nipples..

Hi mommy Sleep pattern will correct soon No need to worry Give adequate feeding Burp well after evey feeding by holding your baby in straight right position and wait for burping atleat ten minutes Squeeze your nipple frequently Try to keep head up position while feeding
