#AskTheExpert my son is 10 years old he suffered from fever this Sunday I gave him dolo 650 mg at 7 pm, then Monday 5 am he had fever i gave him dolo again, then at 12 noon calpol 650, then at night gave him meftal p 7 ml as he had fever of 102.9, since then I am giving ibugesic tablet as he has fever 102 and above. today day 6 he had fever in morning and I gave ibugesic again. All his tests for dengue, malaria, typhi are negative. please tell what has happened to him, he has cough and high fever. he had fever upto 104 on Wednesday his x ray is normal.

whenever you are taking any medicine which has been given by your doctor you have to wait and watch for three days and follow the instructions given by the doctor and if there is no improvement after three days then take a follow up.
so kindly take a follow up with your doctor who will tell you whether any change in medicine or any other investigation is needed or not .
