#asktheexpert my son is 1 month old ..currently he forces very strongly as if he want to release something like stool or pee

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. straining while passing urine and stool is very normal before completion of 6 months of age.
sometimes this can continue for one year of age also.
it usually occurs due to the distention of the urinarys bladder and rectum of the child.
the sensation is new for the child that's why the child is cryings
if you feel that the crying is more than normal you should visit a pediatrician for examination. z

such straining is common and normal
as Newborns learn to pass stool and gas.
but if you notice that child is feeling difficulty, I advise to massage around navel of your child using Babyhug tummy roll on which gives instant relief in this
